CELINE WINTER 23
It’s at Los Angeles Wiltern theatre that Celine Winter 23 show was held, an emblematic location, definitely considered a rock institution since its foundation in 1931. Hedi Slimane, creative director of the maison, couldn’t choose, indeed, a better place for his défilé, since the collection is a real homage to the “Age of Indieness”, a tribute to fashion (and music) of early 2000s.
The brand’s trademarks stand out on the runway: skinny jeans, extra short dresses and shorts, military jackets, sophisticated pieces in leather and shearling. The aesthetic is that of music festivals, such as Coachella and Glastonbury, which is translated into a perfect mix of grit, audacity and elegance. The color palette winks at wintery shades, with accents of bordeaux and deep black that do not go unnoticed, while fabrics, from leather to cashmere and wool, are luxury and precious.
