A MOTEL STORY

 

An empty motel, furniture with a rétro taste and clothes that match the surrounding vintage allure. A frame where time seems to stop, where no detail is left to chance. A pair of Gucci trousers, with Double G pattern and brown leather inserts, perfectly remind of the bedroom's warm colours and prints, creating a still image where the delicate yellow of the embroidered silk duchesse top stands out.

 

 

 

 

Gucci’s classical prints make room for those of Marine Serre, way more futuristic. The contrast with the setting is clear: from the standard and geometrical pattern of an old-fashioned armchair to the innovative symbol of the French brand, an ultra-modern black half-moon, printed on the second skin-effect leggings. The final touch is given by the irreverent five-finger design of Balenciaga Fetish boots, capable of creating the perfect blend between the contemporary style of the outfit and the démodé one of the location.

 

 

 

 

Two more outfits stand out on the neutral background of the room. Saint Laurent red silk mini dress, with bustier design and smocked back, and the colourful The Attico total look, a call to the ‘80s and their eclectic style, which is here mixed with the more outdated one of the motel.
