8 Moncler Palm Angels

Moncler meets the relaxed and laid back spirit of Palm Angels, giving life to a capsule collection under the sign of an all-American appeal. The essence of 8 Moncler Palm Angels is embodied in its logo: a palm in place of the classic French cockerel, as to signify summer – meant as a feeling – during winter season.

Francesco Ragazzi, Palm Angels founder and creative director, was inspired by the world of iconic American sports such as basketball, hockey and baseball, imagining a series of sports uniforms worn off the sporting field. The result is resolutely individual, a real celebration of the energy of dressing as a personal exercise. The typical Moncler pieces – with down jackets at the top – are either enhanced by the hallmarks of Ragazzi’s brand, such as side contrasting bands, or they meet brand new details such as flames and stars, giving them a more dynamic fascination.

As well as down jackets there are also acetate fabric pieces such as track jackets and track pants, not to mention accessories like baseball caps, beanies and even charms characterized by the classic Palm Angels Bear. As regards shoes, it’s impossibile not to talk about the flagship product of the collection: the Winter Gommini boots, in collaboration with Tod’s. Tod’s x 8 Moncler Palm Angels combines the Italian lifestyle with the American spirit, more modern and contemporary. The result is a natural evolution of the Winter Gommini model, which comes in natural, earthy hues, with hiking laces and the unmissable Moncler Palm Angels patch.
