VEJA X MANSUR GAVRIEL

 

Four sneakers with pop tones and a minimalist aesthetic: this is the result of the collaboration between Veja, one of the best eco-sneakers brands around, and Mansur Gavriel, the New Yorker brand that became famous for the essential and colorful design of its shoes and bags.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The models of the footwear capsule, based on the silhouette of Veja’s Campo, draw their inspiration from the beauty of nature and its elements: the yellow sneakers recall the light of the sun, the light-blue ones the color of the sky, the pink ones the shades of the hibiscus flower, while the cream sneakers remind of the neutral tones of the sand. Four vivid and bright tones, typical of Mansur Gavriel’s signature style.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thanks to Veja’s philosophy and ethic, the collection pays special attention to the sustainability of the materials and the production processes. The upper is made of ChromeFree leather, which doesn’t involve chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids in the tanning process, while the classic leather panels respect the REACH norms. On the other hand, the sole involves the use of bio-sourced and recycled materials up to 65%: Amazonian rubber, recycled rubber and rice waste.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The collection, available from April 21st, is a real celebration of a cheerful and light-hearted attitude, which is reflected in the simplicity of the design and in the chosen colors.
