DIOR BY ERL

“California Couture”: this is the name of the capsule collection born from the collaboration between Dior and ERL, result of the meeting between the luxury soul and the streetwear one of the two brands. Inspired by Dior archives and the carefree spirit of Venice Beach, the collection perfectly combines the aesthetics of Kim Jones, Dior’s creative director, and Eli Russell Linnetz, ERL’s founder and designer.

The two brands, apparently poles apart, manage to harmoniously combine their contrasts, giving life to luxurious yet sporty pieces. Tailored pants get oversized volumes, casual hoodies are embellished by precious lurex details, while ties and baseball caps get toned down by fun metallic embroideries.

The result of Paris and Los Angeles meeting is a cool and relaxed wardrobe of impeccable quality, but that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Presented in LA on the blue runway of Windward Avenue, the collection is already available in store at LEAM. .
