American designer Virgil Abloh created Off-White in 2013 with the idea of connecting streetwear and luxury, excess and sobriety, menswear and womenswear for a style rooted in modern culture that goes beyond seasonal fashions. Its name refers to the gray area between black and white, recalling a color palette often used in the collections. Even today Off-White remains among the leading streetwear brands on the global scene, despite the premature death of its founder.
