THE ATTICO FALL WINTER 23

“Infinite Variety” is the name of The Attico’s Fall-Winter 23 collection, made for a multi-faceted woman, free and oblivious of impositions. Audacity is one of her main traits, which allows her to naturally mix her innate glamourous side with her most masculine one.

While making the collection, Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini – founders of the brand – were inspired by the Milanese marchesa Luisa Casati, who lived between the nineteenth and the twentieth century, a strong and eccentric personality the two designers envisioned as the archetypal The Attico woman.

“Infinite Variety”, thereafter, is a mix of modernism and Twenties sophisticated influences, an eternal contrast between masculine and feminine. This translates into long and short dresses embellished with appliquè, embroideries and metallic details, revealing the body underneath through cut-outs and transparencies; sequins and feathers, animal prints and leather items are not missing as well, in full The Attico style. Tailoring is masculine, with maxi volumes and over proportions that carry over in the bombers, cargo pants and t-shirts with padded shoulders. The color palette is nocturnal, with dashes of silver, yellow and royal blue. Eventually, also in the accessories, such as shoes and bags, we can find metallic elements and cut-outs, glitters and geometries that form the leitmotiv of the entire collection.
