DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) Shipping – Important Customs Information In accordance with current regulations and the provisions issued by United States Customs authorities, please note that shipments sent under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms will require payment of any applicable customs duties, administrative fees, and local taxes prior to delivery. These will be calculated and collected directly by the shipping carrier (FedEx or DHL) before final delivery. Unless sudden and unforeseen regulatory changes occur, shipments with a total declared value under USD 800 are generally exempt from U.S. import duties under the “de minimis” rule, as currently enforced by U.S. Customs. The percentage tariff rate applicable to each country of origin will be determined based on the date the shipment physically enters U.S. territory. For official reference, please consult: Executive Order: Country-Specific Tariff Rates (Annex I): If you have any questions regarding how U.S. Customs will handle your shipment, we recommend contacting FedEx or DHL directly, as they act as authorized intermediaries during the customs clearance process. |
