Moncler x FRGMT new collection by Hiroshi Fujiwara represents the winning and longstanding union of the two brands, whose relationship is one of the longest in Moncler Genius history. Love and creativity are the basis of this relationship, echoing in the “Love Is Human” campaign, lensed by photographer and director Xavier Tera. Set in Seoul, the campaign is fronted by brand ambassador and longtime friend of both brands Hwang Minhyun.
The collection, therefore, is a love letter to Moncler: the new logo features Moncler’s iconography “hugging” FRGMT lettering, while the designs mine the historic French brand’s archives and reinterpret signature styles with utmost care.
The keypiece of this collection is the varsity jacket, a style beloved by Hiroshi since the Eighties, here reinvented for a new audience: every piece features a unique serial number, making it one-of-a-kind item. Among the main traits of the collection we find the houndstooth pattern, put on Moncler’s iconic puffers, as well as details and hints to the brand’s mountain heritage.
