A COLD WALL* is a newly formed brand, founded in 2015 by a very young Samuel Ross, born in 1991 in the county of Northamptonshire. 

His passion for fashion, and especially for designer clothes that he could not afford, and a not so easy life that he spends more on the street than at home in the shady suburbs of central England, (and perhaps also his criminal record dirty by brawl) push him to change his life and pursue his dream.

Thus began to churn out McChicken and McNuggets in a uniform that he hates but that will allow him to enroll at De Montfort University and one day not far away to create his idea of ​​uniform, inspired by the English working class.

After the course of studies in Graphic design and illustration, entry into the world that matters is dotted with very rapid steps.

He soon came into contact with Virgil Abloh, CEO of the Milanese label Off-White and artistic director of men's fashion for Louis Vuitton.

Renowned collaborator and friend of Kanye West, he introduces the young and promising Samuel Ross into an artistic whirlwind from which he will emerge as a star to focus on.

After three years of direct assistance to Virgil Abloh, for which he has curated showroom arrangements, film productions and much more, Samuel Ross decides to devote himself to his personal brand.

A COLD WALL * was born in 2015, and in 2017 the Fall Winter collection was presented with great pomp at the London Fashion Week Man. The success is immediate. Samuel presents a series of unstructured clothes, chasing his ideal of combining working class and architectural teachings.

The colors are often neutral - except for the contrast points of red and orange - the synthetic fabrics and the very industrial look.

His is an explosive mixture of streetwear and urban clothing, very conceptual and not inclined to the run-up to the current fashion.

The strength of his thought is clearly visible in the tailored outerwear, and in the jackets, unstructured and reworked in an industrial key, while the synthetic fabrics and the shiny, almost metallic surfaces reflect the urban and underground mood of the collection.

This is Samuel Ross's most successful gamble, being able to implement the bourgeois tailoring concept with the imagination of the English working class.

The garments are treated in every detail, giving life to an innovative streetwear collection, far from traditional standards, in which the sartorial quality meets the most interesting trends of the moment.

The models that enhance the industrial taste of Samuel Ross are in tarpaulin, PVC, latex, viscose, rubber, nylon and thermally active plastic. All handmade and made in Italy products.
