Swarovski racconta il connubio tra i suoi elementi Swarovski e la moda e lo fa con una mostra parigina e 6 short movies!

Nadja Swarovski ha organizzato una mostra dal titolo Paris Haute Couture,  dal 2 Marzo al 6 Luglio 2013 all’Hotel de Ville di Parigi.

Questa mostra vuole celebrare l'abito da sera come opera d'arte per ricordare di quando i giovani stilisti parigini si batterono per contestare il carattere in apparenza frivolo dell’abito da sera, sottolineandone l’infinito potenziale artistico.

Nadja Swarovski hosted an exhibition entitled Paris Haute Couture, from March 2 to July 6, 2013 at the Hotel de Ville in Paris.

This exhibition, free of charge, created to tell the clothes, designers and collections over the years have used the unique Swarovski crystals to make unique, frivolous and precious their own creations. A blast from the past and a look at this to honor the most representative creations of the great designers of the last century and to celebrate the indissoluble link between them and Swarovski crystals.

La scollatura inizia ad apparire nel Rinascimento nel momento in cui le curve diventano un elemento di cui vantarsi: ostentazione di ricchezza e benessere.  A dispetto del “magro MedioEvo” dove le  messe in risalto da accentuate scollature. Gli shorts oggi sono uno degli indumenti più sexy e più difficili da indossare, bisogna avere gambe snelle e lunghe  e nonché uno buona dose di auto stima, ma i pantaloni corti nascono come indumento da uomo: compaiono, associati a calzettoni lunghi, come parte della divisa scolastica, principalmente negli Stati Uniti. Per vederli su una donna, bisogna attendere il 1933, anno in cui la tennista Alice Marble si presenta in campo a San Francisco: con i suoi inediti e candidi shorts. Le stelle del burlesque ne fanno negli anni 40/50, un loro indumento simbolo. I loro pantaloncini, impercettibilmente più lunghi di uno slip, erano in grado di mostrare il corpo femminile come mai era stato fatto prima. E non bastavano vita alta e bottoncini a diminuirne il tasso di disinvoltura.

Anche negli accessori questo dress code sembra uscito dalla passerella: sandali e mocassini con tacco scultura costruttivisti multicolor. I fiori non sono sempre sinonimo di hippy e anni 70. L’Oriente non è più così lontano. E la moda se n’è accorta già da tempo, vuoi perché il  mercato dell’est è molto ricco, vuoi perché molti giovani talenti vengono da li. Il mondo occidentale non può essere compreso del tutto da noi occidentali  ma non smetteremo mai di trarre ispirazione.
Unica soluzione: avvicinare i due mondi, sovrapporli, metabolizzare le antiche tradizioni per estrarne preziosi contenuti d’estetica.
Il fascino della geisha rimane ad oggi uno dei simboli più incredibili e impossibili da svelare , simbolo di quel Giappone esotico e sensuale tra fine Ottocento e inizio Novecento.
A riuscirci più di chiunque altro in questo avvicinamento non poteva che essere una donna, una donna tutta d’un pezzo, colei che nei giochi d’anticipo  non ha mai sbagliato un colpo: Miuccia Prada. Le sue zattere in stile Geisha hanno scardinato le passerelle S/S 2013.

L’animalier ha un appeal primitivo, fa pensare  agli uomini  delle caverne con indosso le pelli delle loro prede oppure a Tarzan nella giungla! In realtà , queste stampe sono più attuali di tutto ciò, l’animalier fa pensare anche  anche ai concerti di Britney Spear con animali, serpenti, foreste e balli sexi.

Nell'iconografia del quattrocento o del Rinascimento l’animalier è stato sempre presente, ma nella moda passiamo dire che approda relativamente tardi.

L'animalier sfila in passerella per la prima volta in occasione della collezione P/E 1947 di Christian Dior che decise di avvolgere le sue modelle in nuvole di chiffon leopardato.

The  animalier has a primitive appeal, suggests the cave men wearing the skins of their prey or Tarzan in the jungle! In fact, these prints are more current than this, the animal also reminds  to the concerts of Britney Spear with animals, snakes, forests and sexy dancing.
